The concept for Polar Moon was developed by Jonny Radtke in Chicago, IL, during the fall of 2008. In the spring/summer of 2009 following his official departure from Kill Hannah, Jonny re-united with old band mate, former drummer of Kill Hannah, Garret Hammond, to contribute some drums and additional production to the project.
