Chester Bennington’s widow launches mental health awareness campaign to mark singer’s birthday

Linkin Park frontman passed away in July 2017

Chester Bennington‘s wife has called on fans to mark the late Linkin Park frontman’s upcoming birthday by taking part in a mental health awareness campaign.

The singer’s widow Talinda Bennington launched the 320 Changes Direction initiative after her husband’s death in July 2017. It helps support those with mental health issues and attempts to break down the stigma attached to depression and addiction problems.

Bennington would have turned 42 on March 20, 2018. Talinda has asked fans to mark his birthday later this month by sharing a photo of themselves with the words “I AM THE CHANGE” written on their hand.

“Change begins within ourselves,” Talinda writes. See her tweet below.

In December, it was revealed that Bennington’s entire estate had been left to Talinda Bennington and his six children.
