Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the West London disaster. 72 people tragically lost their lives in the blaze, with hundreds more left homeless.

Figures from the worlds of entertainment, sport and politics aired tributes – with a vigil taking place overnight. Adele and Stormzy also joined survivors and bereaved family members at a memorial congregation.

During their On The Run II show in London last night, Beyoncé and Jay-Z dedicated the song ‘Young Forever’ to the victims of the tragedy. “I’d like to dedicate this song to the friends and families of the victims of Grenfell,” Beyoncé told the crowd. The couple were also wearing green hearts to show their support for the Justice 4 Grenfell campaign.

Following the performance, Justice 4 Grenfell tweeted: “We are grateful that Jay Z and Beyonce dedicated their last song to Grenfell tonight, they said their thoughts were with the families & survivors. We are glad they wore the green heart badges that we sent over! Thank you.”
