Death Grips have made a new song with the director of ‘Shrek’

Death Grips have worked on a new song with the director of Shrek.

The Sacramento band are set to release their new album ‘Year Of The Snitch’ next week (June 22). It follows 2016’s ‘Bottomless Pit‘.

‘Dilemma’ features on the new record and also boasts an appearance from Andrew Adamson, who helmed the hit animated movie. The group had previously teased they were working with the director back in March when they shared a studio photo with him on Instagram. You can listen to ‘Dilemma’ below.

The band also previously shared a photo of drummer Zach Hill recording with Tool bassist Justin Chancellor around the same time as their Adamson post. “Working on the new album with Justin Chancellor,” the caption read.

Death Grips have already shared four other songs from ‘Year Of The Snitch’ in ‘Black Paint’, ‘Flies’, ‘Hahaha’, and ‘Streaky’. The record will be released through Third Worlds and Harvest Records.

Death Grips only have one announced show coming up this year at present. They will appear at Californian festival Desert Daze in October, alongside the likes of Tame Impala, Warpaint, Jarvis Cocker and more.
