Massive Attack announce special re-release of classic album ‘Mezzanine’

This new edition of their third studio album is being released to mark its twentieth anniversary

Massive Attack have announced a special edition re-release of their landmark 1998 album ‘Mezzanine’.

The Bristol band’s classic record, which was their third studio album and featured such singles as ‘Teardrop’ and ‘Angel’, has been remastered for the new release and will be available in both CD and extended box set formats.

Marking the 20th anniversary of its release, the special edition box set of ‘Mezzanine’ will include a book which features exclusive images by Robert Del Naja and Nick Knight. The remastered album will be spread over two pieces of coloured vinyl, while a third disc will feature previously-unheard Mad Professor remixes from the original 1998 sessions.

The 2xCD version will also include those Mad Professor remixes, and will be presented in a reproduction of the original ‘Mezzanine’ digipack.

Both the ‘Mezzanine’ box set and CD are available to pre-order now here, with the CD set to start shipping in November and the box set in December.
