Snoop Dogg forgives Kanye West for Trump comments and wearing MAGA hat

The rapper had spoken out against West recently in interviews and online

Snoop Dogg has forgiven Kanye West after speaking out against his support of Trump and wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

West gave another pro-Trump speech during an unaired segment of SNL on Saturday (September 29), while wearing the controversial red cap. He later posted on social media his thoughts on what the headwear represents.

In a radio interview before the rapper’s TV appearance, Snoop Dogg called out West for his support of Trump, and on Monday (October 1), commented on his Instagram calling him an “Uncle Tom ass n***a”.

Now, however, he’s offered the ‘Ye’ star an olive branch. Posting on his Instagram page, the ‘Gin And Juice’ rapper shared an image of West in a Snoop Dogg shirt, captioning the photo: “Forgiveness is everything.”

His fans, however, aren’t so ready to forgive. “He wear yo shirt and it’s forgiveness all while still keeping the same hat on. Yeah you almost as weird as that n***ah,” wrote one follower.

Another said: “I thought Snoop was just talking shit bout YE, why we keep giving this n***a do much attention and forgiving this idiot when he keep fucking up with us?”

Meanwhile, West had promised a new album called ‘Yandhi’ would arrive on Saturday to coincide with his performances on SNL. However, the record didn’t arrive and has now had a new release date confirmed.

Kim Kardashian West shared the release date on her Twitter page. “Nov 23 YANDHI TRUST ME it is worth the wait,” she wrote.

The rapper also explained to TMZ the delay was due to him needing to record the album in “what is known as Africa”.
