“You made a porno and got famous”: Jon Bon Jovi hits out at Kim Kardashian

“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world”

Jon Bon Jovi has hit out at Kim Kardashian, accusing the reality star of only achieving fame by starring in a notorious sex tape.

The Bon Jovi frontman criticised Kardashian in a new interview with Australia’s Sunday Project, calling out her involvement in a 2003 sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J that catapulted her to worldwide fame.

“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world”, the rock icon raged. “I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life every to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians.

“I don’t know their names, I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me”, he explained.

Although Kardashian is yet to directly respond to Bon Jovi, she previously addressed critics who have levelled similar claims against her.

“You know, I think that’s how I was definitely introduced to the world,” she said of the sex tape in 2012. “It was a negative way, so I felt like I really had to work 10 times harder to get people to see the real me.”
