50 Cent and Iggy Azalea have leapt to the defence of Nicki Minaj, after designer Steve Madden denied claims that he previously offered her a lucrative deal.
As Minaj’s war of words with Cardi B rages on, the ‘Queen’ rapper claimed that the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star had only been offered a deal with Diesel because of previous ties with Madden. In addition, she said that Madden had previously offered her the same deal.
“Same thing with Steve Madden. Irv Gotti asked me to do that deal several times. I passed”, she wrote on Twitter.

“You never hear me talking bout things like this. she rlly thought she was doing smthn talking about turning down deals.”
Madden then responded to deny the claims, writing: “You can’t turn down an offer that was never made.”
But her claims have since been corroborated by 50 Cent in a since-deleted Instagram post on Instagram.
.@NICKIMINAJ you can't turn down an offer that was never made. #StopLying.

“This guy is a liar, YOU LIAR YOU”, Fiddy wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot of Madden’s tweet.
He then added a screenshot of Madden’s 2015 interview with Vibe, where the designer admits that he was “gonna do a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and we got into a fight the first minute we met.”

In turn, Minaj then shared Fiddy’s post on Twitter and called Madden a “dumb fuck”. He then seemingly backed down and admitted that a collaboration was previously on the cards.
.@NICKIMINAJ is an incredibly talented artist but we couldn’t work together cuz the timing wasn’t right. @iamcardib came on the scene and I had a fantastic collaboration with her, and she is also an amazing talent. I love…

Her claims were later backed by Iggy Azalea, who claimed that she was on “no one’s side”, but accused Madden of lying.
The terse exchange is the latest twist in the long running feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
The pair were recently involved in a brawl at New York Fashion Week in September, before things took a turn on Monday when Cardi B‘s sister claimed the rapper leaked the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star’s phone number online in retaliation.
Yesterday, Cardi hit out at Nicki Minaj once more in a series of furious Instagram posts.
