Elsewhere, Bon Iver have also been announced for Norway’s Bergenfest.
Although Bon Iver are yet to release a follow-up to 2016’s ’22, A Million’, Justin Vernon recently collaborated with Eminem on ‘Fall’ – a track from his latest album Kamikaze.
It attracted significant backlash after Eminem referred to Tyler, The Creator as a “faggot”.
“Was not in the studio for the Eminem track”, Vernon later responded on Twitter when his involvement in the song was criticised.
“Came from a session with BJ Burton and Mike Will. Not a fan of the message, it’s tired. Asked them to change the track, wouldn’t do it.”
In a series of further tweets, Vernon said he thought Eminem is “one of the best rappers of all time” before adding: “This is not the time to criticise Youth, it’s the time to listen. To act. It is certainly not the time for slurs.”
