Marilyn Manson and Kris Kristofferson have joined forces for an unlikely collaboration – on a country-gospel record.

Manson shared a picture of him and Kristofferson on his Instagram account and said it was an “honour” to be invited onto the stage by Kristofferson.

He wrote: “An honor to be invited onstage with the true Star Is Born.” Kristofferson starred in the 1976 version of A Star is Born, alongside Barbra Streisand.

Meanwhile, Manson recently teased that new material might be coming in 2019 via his Instagram account.
