The most unlikely collaboration of the year could come in the form of Dolly Parton and BTS, after the country legend admitted that she wants to work with the K-Pop giants.
Teasing fans on Twitter, Dolly shared a video that saw the hugely popular group enjoying her ‘Jolene’ duet with Miley Cyrus at the Grammys.
“Maybe my next #Jolene collab will be with @BTS_twt? What do y’all think?,” wrote Dolly.

Although it seems the unlikeliest of prospects, it sparked huge excitement among BTS’ fans.
“Miss Parton I would definitely consider a collab with these talented country loving men! They’re quite a versatile group and are not afraid to cross genres. A country music collab would break records in South Korea and Internationally!,” wrote one fan.

Describing a collaboration as “epic”, a third said: “ARMYs would be extremely happy for this collab and it’s already a huge honor the fact you are considering @BTS_twt for this.”
The admiration for Parton came on the same night that BTS that made history by becoming the first Korean artists to set foot on stage at the Grammys.
They presented the award for Best R&B Album, with leader RM sending a message to fans before announcing the nominees: “We’ll be back.”
