The Chicago festival will take place in the city’s Grant Park between August 1-4. Tickets are on sale now, while the headliners confirmed on Twitter earlier today.

The latest batch of acts comes after Tame Impala, Janelle Monáe, and Lil Wayne were all confirmed to be playing yesterday.

The initial line-up announcement was made via a 13-minute long video featuring dogs which are available for re-homing at the PAWS Chicago animal shelter. A variety of dogs appeared in the video, moving balls off a screen to show images of the acts playing the festival as a narrator read out clues to eventually reveal their identities.

Last year’s festival saw the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Jack White, Vampire Weekend, Pale Waves, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, The National, Lil Uzi Vert and more perform.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala are set to appear on Saturday Night Live later this month. The Australian band will serve as the musical guests on the comedy show on March 30. Actor Sandra Oh will host the episode.

Band leader Kevin Parker spoke about the follow-up to ‘Currents’ in January, saying he didn’t want to rush it. “I wouldn’t want in 20 years to be listening to an album I made now and think that I finished it for any deadline or any particular reason. It was finished because it was finished.”

The group are also scheduled to headline this year’s Coachella festival, alongside Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino.
